Bedassa Tadesse (Ph.D.) is a professor of economics at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Dr. Tadesse is a former member of the OSA Board and current editor of the Journal of Oromo Studies (JOS). In the past, he also served as the journal’s associate editor. He serves as an editorial board member of several economics journals, such as Economies and the Journal of African Development (JAD). Dr. Tadesse’s teaching area focuses on Econometrics, International Economics, and Development Economics. He has published articles in top-tier field journals and presented papers at national and international conferences, including the Oromo Studies Association annual and mid-year conferences.
