Fantahun Diba is an Adjunct Professor of Biological Sciences at Baltimore City Community College where he currently teaches microbiology for undergraduates. From 1998 to 2005 conducted research on Endocrinological Aspects of Human Prostate & Breast Cancer Cells at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Tufts University School of Medicine & Georgetown University School of Medicine, respectively. He graduated in 1987 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences (UVPhS), Brno, Czech Republic.  He completed his PhD studies on Large Animal Reproduction in 1994 where he worked in this field until his move to the US in 1995.  

His current goal is to devote attention to the impacts of climate change-associated factors influencing the health of Animals and Humans. Besides, he is interested in working on OSA’s future mission, and would also like to extend his involvement in the Oromo Human Rights and Advocacy group in Ethiopia, the Horn of Africa.
