Dr. Moa Apagodu is serving a three year term as an OSA Board member to which he was elected in 2021. Dr. Apagodu is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Moa received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Rutgers University, New Jersey, in 2006. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mathematics from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia; an Advanced Diploma from Trieste, Italy; and spent a semester as a research fellow at Ilmenau Technical University, Germany. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience and has authored several articles in Mathematics.
