Robera is currently serving as OSA Board Member through 2025. Before joining the board, he had served in other roles that supported the organization’s mission such as the executive committee and as a volunteer. In the U.S., Robera has worked in various industries and community groups where he advocates for good environmental stewardship. He has a bachelor’s from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and is currently completing his graduate studies at George Washington University (GWU). Robera is committed to strengthening institutions such as OSA and others that combat misinformation and disinformation by producing high-quality literature for those interested in advocacy, Oromo Studies, and African Studies.
