The 2023 OSA Annual Conference will be held at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD from July 29-30, 2023. The call for abstracts
Annual Conference
The Oromo Studies Association annually hosts the leading academic conference in the Diaspora on Oromo Studies. The annual conference includes a diverse array of panels and roundtables, keynote and guest speakers, and an awards ceremony and/or dinner. In addition, conference participants can pick up a copy of the Journal of the Oromo Studies and other publications at the location of the conference. Leading up to the annual conference, the conference’s theme and call for papers will be announced. To register for the annual conference, please visit the Register page below.
Mid-Year Conference
